Updating the Forms, Not the Substance

Chiara responds to a Gen2 member who asks how to make the meetings and activities of the Work of Mary more suitable for young people. She explains that the substance of the Mariapolis and its spirituality cannot be changed, but the forms can: shorter language, examples, gestures, theatrical performances, and creativity. She acknowledges that in the past it was a mistake not to involve young people earlier, but emphasizes that “better late than never.”
