Paradise 49

In Oberiberg (Switzerland), in a few dense pages, Chiara outlines the mystical experience she had in the summer of 1949. After a period of intense living of the gospel, during which the main points of the new spirituality were outlined, God opened up to her – and through her, to the small body of the growing Movement – a full understanding of the charism of unity and of the Work that was to be born. These months, Chiara would define as “Paradise of 49”.
