There was a void in my soul that I couldn’t fill, a desire to give myself more totally to God that I didn’t know how to satisfy. I suffered above all from not finding anyone who thought like me, with whom I could walk the path towards God. It was during this period that I met Silvana, who was attending university in Florence, my city. My encounter with the Ideal was overwhelming for me, and as I lived it, my needs were fulfilled. A caress from God to the soul: this is how he described his encounter with Chiara. Vita was the first of his closest collaborators to reach the Celestial Mariapolis.
